Mark Adams

Mark Adams is a Texas Registered Professional Geoscientist (P.G.) and a Corrective Action Project Manager (C.A.P.M.) with over 20 years of professional experience. Mark received is Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of New Orleans. Mark has extensive experience in site assessment, risk assessment, and remediation. As an environmental professional, Mark has provided litigation support on projects from hazardous waste to oil and gas contamination. Because of his experience, Mark was asked to lead a joint venture in South America and was stationed in Buenos Aires, Argentina to assist major oil companies in the protection of the environment and the corrective action when required.

Mark was the hazardous materials specialist and Senior Geologist for the development of State Highway 130. His duties included, the Environmental Site Assessment of over 400 properties, Phase II investigations of numerous properties, providing expertise in reporting, assessment, and remediation of environmental incidents associated with the SH130 project. In addition to the hazardous materials duties, Mark was responsible for conducting geological assessments for many tracts pursuant to the Edwards Aquifer Protection Program of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

Prior to being employed full time by aci consulting, Mark acted as a consultant for aci and others as a hazardous material expert and a karst geologist. Mark is now a full time Senior Geologist for aci, responsible for conducting all aspects of environmental geological investigations with the support of highly qualified staff of professionals.
