Natural Resource Services

aci has extensive experience to ensure Endangered Species Act compliance, including Section  7 consultations and 10(a) permits.  aci conducts habitat evaluations, censusing surveys and permitting for protected species, including the Preble’s meadow jumping mouse, bald eagle, and other terrestrial and aquatic species.  Under the Clean Water Act, aci has conducted hundreds wetland delineations, permit authorizations and established wetland mitigation banks. Under National Environmental Policy Act, aci  prepares categorical exclusions, environmental assessments and environmental impact statements. 

Cultural Resource Services

aci offers cultural resource services necessary to

comply with State and Federal law for a variety of projects, including: fieldwork and

compliance coordination; specialized research; laboratory and collections management; publications and presentations; and policy planning.

Geosciences Services

aci provides geological services for areas having unique geologic characteristics or specific geologic needs including surface and subsurface investigations. aci has expertise in constraint analysis, surface and subsurface hydrologic analysis and geospatial studies. With licensed geoscientists aci also provides services in hazardous material investigations and remediation; sand, gravel, rock quarries; hydrogeology studies; soil evaluations; cave exploration and mapping; and groundwater and spring-shed analyses.

aci utilizes highly advanced Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology integrated with its environmental services or as a stand-alone service, including cartographic and photographic analysis, digital imaging & full-service color; reproduction; multi-format photo documentation; GIS, GPS, & Digital cartography; and graphic arts and publishing.

Construction Management and Monitoring Services

aci provides construction management, environmental oversight and monitoring for construction projects.  Monitoring focuses on storm water inspection but also includes endangered species habitat; jurisdictional waters and wetlands; cultural and historical resources mitigation and monitoring; migratory bird nesting; and environmental training.
