Working with Burials

Work by aci consulting must occasionally affect human burials. Our archaeological staff has extensive experience in the careful excavation of human remains. The care and respect due human remains is paramount. aci consulting’s Physical Anthropologist has many years experience in dealing with human osteology. Experience includes forensic analysis of skeletal remains at medical examiner’s facilities, along with many in-field excavations and assessments. We work closely with Indian tribes relating to the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), and have created action plans for the accidental discovery of human remains.
